Adobe has unveiled the beta version of its AI Assistant for Photoshop on web and mobile. This innovative feature analyzes images, offering editing suggestions, and allows users to enter “Do it for me” commands to create custom alterations, such as object removal, background changes, lighting adjustments, or color tweaks.

If you prefer manual control over your edits, you can ask the AI Assistant to “Show me” instead. Edits are applied on new layers, ensuring a non-destructive workflow that lets you revert to the original image or adjust your changes easily. The mobile app even enables voice requests for communicating with the AI Assistant.

Additionally, the web version of Photoshop is introducing a new feature called AI Markup, also powered by the AI Assistant and currently in public beta. This feature allows direct prompt-based changes by drawing annotations directly on the image. You can then input specific prompts to affect the marked areas.
