In a recent study, participants were divided into four distinct groups to explore the effects of different auditory stimuli on anxiety levels during sleep. They experienced either 24 minutes of pink noise (serving as the control), or 12, 24, or 36 minutes of music enhanced with ABS (Acoustic Beat Synchronization).
The findings indicated that participants exposed to the music conditions experienced greater anxiety reductions compared to the pink noise control group. Notably, the 24-minute music session emerged as the most effective, achieving anxiety reduction levels comparable to the 36-minute session and surpassing the 12-minute version.
This research highlights the potential benefits of music therapy, especially sessions of 24 minutes, in managing anxiety effectively.
