They envisioned a space where moms could engage in casual, no-pressure environments aimed at recovery—mentally, physically, and socially.

Launched in September, the Hot Moms Club has swiftly gained traction, welcoming dozens of participants from all over the state, some traveling from as far as Foster and Scituate. What’s more, mothers are encouraged to bring their children along so they too can make new friends and enjoy the outings.

“What started as a small group has transformed into a vibrant community,” Howarth noted. The shared goal of creating genuine connections is resonating with many, making the often lonely journey of motherhood feel slightly less isolating.

Fitness Activities

The Hot Moms Club provides a variety of activities that blend fitness and fun. The group hosts weekly “sip + stroll” events every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Newport, starting at Beaucoup coffee shop, and every Friday at 1 p.m. in South Kingstown at Arabella’s Coffee House. These informal walks allow moms to get moving while catching up with friends over a favorite beverage.

Additionally, the club has partnered with several workout studios across South County to offer “mommy and me” classes. Participating studios include Studio 22 in Narragansett, Vivant in Warwick, and Barre3 in Middletown, among others. Each location provides unique classes, from kickboxing to Pilates to dance cardio, ensuring that there’s something for every mom interested in boosting her physical fitness.

A notable highlight is Studio 22’s pelvic floor exercise classes, which are particularly beneficial for moms seeking to strengthen their bodies post-pregnancy.
