Nominet Research Reveals AI Tool Usage Among Youth
Recent findings from Nominet indicate that a staggering 97% of young people aged 8 to 17 in the UK are actively using AI tools. Notably, over half (58%) of these youths believe that AI enhances their daily lives. Nevertheless, there is significant apprehension, with three-fifths (60%) expressing concerns about the potential misuse of AI to generate inappropriate images of them. This research, commissioned for Safer Internet Day on February 10, is derived from a survey involving 2,000 young individuals and an equal number of parents and caregivers.
