Aston Martin is expanding its DBX lineup by introducing the DBX GT, aimed at enhancing comfort while maintaining performance. This variant features the same 727PS twin-turbo V8 found in the sport-oriented DBX S, ensuring that power is consistent across both models. The DBX GT incorporates improvements such as upgraded suspension, increased sound insulation, and a revised interior designed for daily luxury.
Key specifications include a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph, both on par with the DBX S, thanks to the powerful 4.0-liter engine, which also draws technology from Aston Martin’s Valhalla supercar.
Adrian Hallmark, the CEO, emphasizes that the DBX GT caters to those who prioritize elegance and comfort without compromising performance. Other enhancements include new dampers to reduce vibrations, acoustic glass for added quietness, and a revamped seating configuration to maintain passenger capacity while improving comfort with added memory foam.
This dual offering of the DBX’s sport and comfort variants allows Aston Martin to cater to a wider audience, combining luxury and performance in one refined package. First deliveries of the DBX GT are anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2026.
