In the latest episode of “Celebrity Traitors,” Richard E. Grant made a significant blunder by revealing his role as a Traitor to other contestants shortly after being selected. Grant described this moment as “the biggest mistake I’ve made in my life.” Alongside Maya Jama, who expressed a desire to be a sly and warm Traitor, Grant was eager to embrace his role, stating that the only power in the game lies with the Traitors.
Despite the shock from fellow contestants when Grant announced his status, comedian Joe Lycett encouraged him to backtrack and joke about being a Faithful instead. Realizing his error, Grant admitted his excitement led him to make this rash decision and expressed concern about the heat he was attracting.
Though he believed he would be eliminated, others like Jerry Hall were skeptical, attributing his eccentric behavior to his personality rather than a game strategy. Ultimately, Grant survived the episode, where the Traitors had the chance to recruit a contestant and eliminate another, leaving viewers in suspense about his next move.
The show features various celebrities competing to identify the Traitors for a chance to win £100,000 for charity. The first season premiered in October 2025 and is available for streaming on Peacock.
