Rams Coach Acknowledges the Foolishness of Team’s Trip to Australia | San Francisco 49ers

The Los Angeles Rams faced challenges in their season opener against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia. The 49ers arrived a week early and were well-prepared, while the Rams landed just a day before the game, contributing to their defeat. However, the Rams rebounded in Week 2 with a decisive win over the New York Giants. Head coach Sean McVay acknowledged the poor travel decisions that impacted their performance in Week 1, humorously remarking, “Sometimes you have a dumbass coach that makes travel plans that put you in a bad spot.” Looking ahead, the Rams will face the 49ers again in Week 14 under more favorable conditions.
