Celebrity Traitors personality joins BBC show to ‘get revenge’ for Niko: ‘I quit watching when he left’

King Kenny’s Motivation for “The Celebrity Traitors”

In a recent revelation, King Kenny, star of the second season of The Celebrity Traitors, shared his unique motivation for participating in the show, which kicks off tonight in a stunning Scottish castle. Unlike other contestants, Kenny’s drive stems from a desire to avenge his friend, YouTuber Niko Omilana, who was the first celebrity eliminated in the previous season due to a misunderstanding among fellow contestants.

Kenny confessed, “I watched a lot of the seasons. I’ll be honest, after Niko went out last year, I stopped watching. But when I heard I was going to play this year, I got determined to do this for Niko and avenge him.” His competitive nature is also a contributing factor, as he believes that the more he immerses himself in the game, the more invested he will become.

The cast this season includes notable stars like Michael Sheen, Richard E Grant, James Acaster, and Bella Ramsey, all vying for the top prize to benefit their chosen charities. Kenny expressed his dedication, noting, “I’ve done my homework and watched every single season… and here I am.”

Kenny, whose real name is Kenny Oghenovo Ojuederie, candidly admitted he isn’t a skilled liar, especially around friends and family. However, he feels that playing among strangers could change the dynamics. “I think if it’s strangers, it will be easier. If someone knows you well, they’ll notice subtle things that others don’t.”

With his unique insights into the game and a strong motivation to succeed, fans are eager to see how King Kenny performs in this gripping competition. The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
