Livingston Parish Library Merges Literature and Comic Book Culture at Book-Con

The Livingston Parish Library hosted Book-Con on Saturday at the Main Branch, celebrating literature and comic book culture. This event combined the annual Livingston Parish Book Festival and Comic Con, incorporating local authors, comic book vendors, artists, and food trucks. The theme for this year was “Celebrating All Stories,” and attendees enjoyed various hands-on activities, including a cosplay contest where participants dressed as their favorite characters for a chance to win prizes.
