Tyra Banks Discusses Her Regrets About Playing a Role in Halloween: Resurrection

Tyra Banks recently reflected on her experience filming Halloween: Resurrection, stating she doesn’t look back on it fondly. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she expressed disappointment, saying, “Not even a little bit.” Initially hesitant about taking the role, she was persuaded by an agent, who suggested it could help her acting career, similar to Halloween H20 actor Josh Hartnett.

Banks portrayed a producer documenting events inside Michael Myers’ childhood home, but felt let down when her character was killed off off-screen. “I was promised the career of Josh Hartnett and an iconic death scene, and neither of them happened,” she lamented.

Following her early film roles, including Higher Learning and Coyote Ugly, Banks found greater fame as the host of America’s Next Top Model, a show she created. She later started The Tyra Banks Show, winning two Daytime Emmys, and served as a host on Dancing With the Stars.

Now residing in Australia with her partner Louis Bélanger-Martin, Banks is focusing on her ice cream business, SMiZE and Dream, drawn by the country’s love for ice cream.
