Bentley has officially unveiled the Torcal in London, marking a significant milestone as its first fully electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) and its fourth model line. With no combustion engine, the Torcal embodies Bentley’s commitment to an electric future while reinforcing ties to British manufacturing.

- Power Output: Up to 888PS with a staggering 1,350Nm of torque, marking it as the most powerful Bentley yet.
- Battery & Range: Equipped with a 113kWh, 800V battery, the Torcal boasts a range of up to 375 miles and can add around 100 miles of charge in just 7 minutes with fast charging.
- Acceleration: The core model achieves 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds, while the high-performance S model can do it in just 2.8 seconds.
Innovative Features:
- Suspension and Handling: The Torcal introduces fully active suspension—a first for Bentley—that eliminates anti-roll bars for enhanced ride quality, combined with all-wheel steering to improve maneuverability.
- Sound Design: To replace the traditional engine sound, a unique audio experience has been created using drums, viola, and bass guitar, designed to evoke the rhythm of a Bentley V8, adjustable based on torque demand and speed.
