Taskmaster favorite James Acaster expresses “worries” regarding the new cast of Celebrity Traitors.

James Acaster expressed his concerns about the new lineup of Celebrity Traitors, highlighting the potential scrutiny comedians might face. He noted that with comedians in the mix, there could be an assumption of alliance among them, which could lead to increased suspicion.

Acaster reflected on the past season where comedian Alan Carr won with his charm and humor, suggesting that it might create a bias against comedians this time around. Despite his concerns, Acaster admitted he was excited and felt a tinge of jealousy not being part of the first season. He praised the show’s addictive nature, revealing he binge-watched the first season and became frustrated waiting for new episodes.

He also shared insights from fellow comedians Joe Wilkinson and Nick Mohammed, who described their different experiences on the show: Wilkinson was more laid back while Mohammed actively tried to figure out the game. Acaster believes he’ll likely blend both approaches.

Celebrity Traitors season 2 is set to premiere on Thursday, October 1, at 8 PM on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
