Following Allison Janney’s Emmys reference, Savannah Guthrie emphasizes her request for her mother’s return.

Savannah Guthrie has intensified her appeal for the return of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who was kidnapped from her Tuscon home in February. During a recent “Today” show broadcast, Savannah expressed her heartbreak, stating, “We just want our mom home to give her a proper goodbye.” This plea coincided with supportive remarks from actress Allison Janney at the 2026 Emmy Awards, where she acknowledged the pain Savannah’s family is experiencing.

Law enforcement agencies have been searching for Nancy Guthrie for over six months, but efforts have yet to yield results. Investigators are examining ransom notes linked to the case, one of which ominously claims that she “perished shortly after she was taken” and “is buried in nature.” Savannah expressed gratitude for Janney’s support, emphasizing her family’s ongoing struggle and the need for assistance in bringing her mother home.
