METLEN and PETRONAS Enter Long-Term LNG Supply Agreement
ATHENS, Greece and LONDON, Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — METLEN and PETRONAS, through PETCO Trading (UK) Limited (PTUK), have signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the long-term supply of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to Greece. The SPA includes annual deliveries of 6 LNG cargoes, totaling approximately 0.6 billion cubic meters per annum (bcma) over five years, starting in 2027.
This agreement will enhance METLEN’s strategy to diversify LNG supply sources, contributing to energy security and establishing Greece as a regional energy hub.
