Two people tragically lost their lives in a crash in Wagoner County, Oklahoma, Thursday afternoon. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Paul Simmons, 63, from Springfield, Missouri, was driving a BMW on U.S. Highway 69 near East 690 Road when he lost control on a wet roadway. The vehicle crossed the median and collided with a semi truck.
Both Simmons and his passenger, Connie Johnson, 77, also from Springfield, died at the scene. Another passenger in the BMW sustained injuries, while the semi truck driver was unharmed.
