FBI Looking for Possible Fraud Victims Linked to Omaha Travel Agent

The FBI is investigating Connie Seastedt, the owner of Captivating Travels by Connie, for allegedly committing fraud by using clients’ credit card information to cancel travel reservations while leaving them with financial losses. This investigation stems from earlier reports by Mike McKnight and involves potential victims across the nation.

If individuals believe they were affected, they can fill out an online form provided by the FBI and email supporting documentation. Victims’ identities will be kept confidential, and they may be eligible for restitution under federal or state law.

A victim, Heidi Gatling, who lost $13,000 meant for a family trip, emphasizes the importance of others sharing their experiences to aid the investigation. A Facebook group for victims has also formed, currently with about 300 members. Seastedt’s attorney has declined to comment.
