Press Release: 2027 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations Announcement

ERNÉE (France), 4 October 2026 – The journey to the 2027 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations has officially commenced, with Assen, The Netherlands, confirmed as the host for the event scheduled on 8, 9, and 10 October 2027.

Highlights from Ernée

The announcement took place during the current edition of the ‘Nations’ in Ernée, where Dutch organizers showcased their ambitions with a standout display, including a traditional windmill—a symbol of The Netherlands—at the press conference. This setup aims to establish a remarkable atmosphere that characterizes the Motocross of Nations as nations prepare to compete for the Chamberlain Trophy in 2027.

A Historic Return to Assen

The 2027 edition signifies a return to Assen, which last hosted the event in 2019, marking a historic moment as Team Netherlands, led by Jeffrey Herlings, Glenn Coldenhoff, and Calvin Vlaanderen, secured the nation’s first-ever Motocross of Nations victory before an enthusiastic Dutch crowd.
