Free Pet Food and Supplies in Traverse City
TRAVERSE CITY — The Cherryland Humane Society and Hoop’s Pet Food Pantry are joining forces to provide free pet food and supplies to local residents facing financial difficulties.
Starting October 28, the organizations will launch a recurring pet pantry at the Cherryland Humane Society. The pantry will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every fourth Wednesday of the month.
The pantry will offer dog food, cat food, and other essential pet care supplies. No registration is needed, and assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
This collaboration aims to support local families in caring for their pets during tough financial times and to keep pets in loving homes.
“We’re excited to partner with Hoop’s Pet Food Pantry to make pet care essentials more accessible to our community,” said Cherryland Humane Society Executive Director Heidi Yates. “Our goal is to keep pets safe, healthy, and in loving homes where they belong, even when times get tough.”
Mark your calendars for the first pantry on Wednesday, October 28, at the Cherryland Humane Society!
