Age: Everett is a 1-year-old male Alaskan Husky.
Personality: Charismatic, outgoing, spirited, animated, social, and playful.
Highlights:
Everett is an adventurous husky with a lot of energy and plenty of opinions. He’s known for being curious and is always ready for his next exploration. His family should be prepared for his mischievous side, as he’s been known to escape yards and leap fences.
Everett loves people and generally gets along with other dogs, but his enthusiasm can be overwhelming at times. He’s still learning his manners and will need continued leash training, particularly to address pulling and jumping. He’s a fun, social dog looking for an active home that embraces the joys and challenges of owning a husky.
Meet-and-greets with potential canine housemates are highly recommended.
Availability:
Everett is available at the Jackson County Animal Shelter, located at 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., Phoenix. The shelter is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Please note that licensing fees apply. Walk-ins are welcome; no appointment is needed.
