Erik Bright Joins PMK Entertainment as Executive VP
After years of leading his own public relations firm, Erik Bright is transitioning to a corporate role with PMK Entertainment as the Executive Vice President of Content and Strategic Communications. He will remain in Los Angeles while overseeing a bicoastal publicity team focused on film and TV campaigns, and will contribute to PMK’s global strategic communications practice.
Bright brings extensive experience from his previous role as President and CEO of Prodigy Public Relations, a firm he founded and led for 16 years. As part of his new position, he will integrate his content and corporate business portfolio into PMK, reporting to Dennis Dembia, PMK’s President of Strategic Communications.
Cindi Berger, PMK Entertainment CEO, praised Bright for his creative vision and industry relationships, calling him a “tremendous addition” to the leadership team. Alan Nierob, PMK Entertainment President, noted Bright’s proven campaign expertise and strategic depth.
Dembia highlighted Bright’s longstanding commitment and innovative campaigns in launching films and TV series, emphasizing that his leadership will be crucial for unlocking new opportunities within the entertainment, media, and sports sectors.
Bright expressed his admiration for PMK, stating, “It’s one of the most respected names in entertainment communications,” and looks forward to leveraging PMK’s resources to enhance client work further.
Over his career, Bright has managed a range of campaigns for notable projects, including Crash, Little Miss Sunshine, and Promising Young Woman, along with films from major festivals. Before founding Prodigy, he was with Insignia PR and Media Strategies and started at Eddie Michaels & Associates.
PMK Entertainment, renamed from R&CPMK after joining Michael Nyman’s Acceleration Community of Companies in 2025, is known for its high-profile clients, including stars like Denzel Washington and Hugh Jackman.
