KC Pet Project Offering Free Adoptions as Kennels Fill Up
The KC Pet Project is currently facing a critical capacity situation, with 254 dogs in their care and only two open kennels available. In response, they are waiving adoption fees for dogs weighing 40 pounds or more through this Sunday.
Key Details:
- Current Situation: 93 dogs entered the shelter between Sunday and Thursday, while only 40 were adopted.
- Special Adoption Event: Sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition, adopters will receive a kit filled with food, toys, and more.
- Available Dogs: You can view the dogs up for adoption on the KCPP website.
- Fostering Option: If adoption isn’t possible, consider fostering a dog to help alleviate the situation.
For those interested in saving a life, this is a great opportunity to adopt or foster a furry friend!
