Roanoke, Va. (WDBJ) – The ongoing segment Pet Talk, featured on 7@four every Wednesday, highlights a pressing issue within the Roanoke Valley: numerous animal shelters and rescue organizations are currently grappling with critical challenges. Due to widespread feline illnesses and space constraints, major facilities have halted regular cat intakes.
Julie Rickmond, the Marketing and Communications Director at the Roanoke Valley SPCA, is set to join the 7@four team to provide insights into the outbreak, share essential information for pet owners, and discuss how community members can assist, particularly through fostering.
If you have questions, you can reach out through their website and consult with professionals about your pet’s needs.
