Patrick Mahomes Sr. requests modification of probation to allow travel for NFL games.

Patrick Mahomes Sr. is seeking court approval to attend his son Patrick Mahomes Jr.’s NFL games across various states, including Missouri, Nevada, and Ohio. He recently filed a motion in Tyler’s 7th District Court, indicating a commitment to abide by urinalysis testing before and after travel.

Mahomes Sr., a former baseball player, has fulfilled 160 hours of community service and completed a 16-week treatment program for substance abuse. His compliance with probation conditions has been verified by a community supervision officer; he is monitored with an ankle device.

In July, he requested a replacement for this device due to health issues it caused. Mahomes Sr. remains on probation after a violation extended it by two years, stemming from a DWI guilty plea in 2024. He was re-arrested in February for drinking alcohol while on probation but was released the same day due to time served.
