Ruth’s Chris Dress Code Controversy Divides Online Opinions

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is reminding diners about its business casual dress code, which includes a no-hats policy in the dining room. Diners in ball caps may be asked to eat in the bar or lounge instead. Reactions online are mixed, with some labeling the policy as outdated, while others see it as a way to maintain the restaurant’s atmosphere.

Additional restrictions include prohibitions on gym wear, pool attire, tank tops, clothing with offensive graphics, revealing clothing, and exposed undergarments. While some argue the policy is too upscale for a chain steakhouse, others support the idea of maintaining a certain dining environment, noting that a steakhouse experience can still be special.
