F45 Partners with Red Bull for New Fitness Competition

F45 Training Launches Peak500: A New Fitness Competition in Partnership with Red Bull

In the ever-evolving world of fitness, hybrid events are taking center stage, and F45 Training, a leading boutique fitness brand, is embracing this trend with an exciting new competition: Peak500. This 30-minute fitness challenge integrates various modalities and invites participants to push their limits while fostering a supportive community environment.

As a proud official training partner of Hyrox, F45’s introduction of Peak500 marks a significant step in consolidating its position within the hybrid fitness landscape. Officially launching later this month, Peak500 will feature collaboration with Red Bull, a well-known global partner.

Designed to be both competitive and accessible, Peak500 consists of:

  • Five performance stations
  • Five minutes per station
  • One minute of rest between stations
  • Scoring based on maximum reps or calories at each station
  • Participation options for individuals or pairs

The five stations feature diverse exercises, including the bike erg, ski erg, row erg, devil’s press, and a combined round of shuttle runs and barbell thrusters. After each five-minute segment, participants will log their total reps or calories in the F45 Training App. The goal at each station is to achieve a maximum score of 100 points. If a participant reaches this milestone, they can record any remaining time as part of their total score.

Participants who score 100 points in all five stations will have their total remaining time added to their score, with the overarching aim being to achieve the highest possible total. This structure not only emphasizes individual achievement but also creates a camaraderie within the F45 community, as members motivate each other through the challenge.

“F45 Peak500 brings the energy of a true fitness event into the F45 studio,” stated Tom Dowd, CEO of F45’s parent company, FIT House of Brands. “It’s an opportunity for individuals to test their limits, set new personal records, and thrive in a high-energy community spirit.”

As anticipation builds for the event on March 28, when the global leaderboard will be unveiled, F45 coaches and members can engage in optional practice workouts to fine-tune their strategy and performance. This preparatory phase aims to ensure all participants are ready for the competition.

“We see this as just the beginning,” Dowd added. “Our vision is for F45 Peak500 to evolve into a major global fitness event—a platform where athletes and fitness enthusiasts can train and compete across the F45 network and beyond.”

The rise of fitness competitions reflects a broader trend in the industry, drawing audiences and participants alike. Alongside Hyrox, the Adidas-sponsored ATHX is set to host its inaugural U.S. event on March 21-22 in Miami Beach. Meanwhile, Xenom, dubbed the “Decathlon of Fitness,” is gearing up for its launch, with plans for a high-stakes event featuring serious hybrid athletes.

As fitness competitions continue to proliferate, community support and accessibility will be vital in encouraging participation. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a beginner, events like Peak500 offer an exciting way to engage with fitness in a supportive and dynamic environment.
