Next week, an extraordinary kosher fine dining experience is set to unfold at one of America’s premier restaurants. For three exclusive nights, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, renowned chef Dan Barber’s two Michelin-star establishment in Westchester, will offer a fully kosher dining experience. This limited-time fundraising dinner series will benefit the nonprofit organization, Our Place.

Situated on the historic grounds of the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Tarrytown, New York—previously the Rockefeller estate—Blue Hill at Stone Barns is celebrated for its farm-to-table tasting menus and outstanding culinary excellence. The restaurant, which boasts two Michelin stars, will be under kosher supervision from the Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc) during this unique event.
The dinners will take place on March 17, 18, and 19, accommodating around 50 guests each evening.
Curated by Dan Barber, a leader in the modern farm-to-table movement, the menus will pay homage to seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and partner farms. Guests can expect a varied selection of meats and poultry, including specialties like venison, baby goat, and goose, alongside many beloved Blue Hill dishes.
For this exclusive event, the culinary team will craft a tasting experience that upholds rigorous kosher standards while retaining the restaurant’s commitment to ingredient-driven cuisine.
Each dinner will include:
• A thoughtfully curated multi-course tasting menu (9 passed, 9 seated)
• Wine pairings with each course
• An open bar throughout the evening
• Live music during the meal
The dining experience will mirror Blue Hill’s signature format, emphasizing ingredients cultivated on the property or sourced from nearby farms.
A Unique Opportunity for Michelin-Level Kosher Dining
Blue Hill at Stone Barns is widely regarded as one of the most influential dining establishments in the United States, holding two Michelin stars. While kosher fine dining events occasionally occur in restaurants or hotels, this is the only multi-star Michelin restaurant globally that will temporarily operate entirely kosher.
The cost for this exclusive experience is $1,800 per person, which covers the tasting menu, beverage pairings, open bar, and evening programming.
For comparison, the restaurant’s regular tasting experience typically costs around $1,000 per person (including wine pairings) when not observing kosher guidelines.
Fundraising for Our Place
This dinner series serves as a fundraising effort for Our Place, a New York-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting at-risk Jewish teens and young adults through drop-in centers and recovery programs.
Our Place operates various programs aimed at assisting at-risk youth, including recovery clubhouses for young adults and drop-in centers for teens. All proceeds from the dining experience will benefit these vital programs. To learn more about the impactful work carried out by Our Place, visit OurPlaceNY.org.
