Café Palestina has become a popular study spot for Cerritos College students, especially since the campus library closes early. Open from 5 a.m. to midnight, it provides a welcoming space for those pulling all-nighters. With no dorms at Cerritos College, many students rely on local coffee shops.
The café’s co-owner, Gee, wanted to honor both the Latino community and raise awareness about Palestine through its name. The atmosphere is enhanced by friendly baristas who recognize their regular customers.
With plans for a dedicated study room underway, students feel it will offer a safe and supportive environment. Café Palestina’s offerings include signature lattes priced at $7 and desserts from The Cheesecake Lab, making it a preferred choice over corporate chains.
Located at 10929 1/2 Alondra Blvd., Norwalk, this café is more than just a coffee shop; it’s a community hub for students.
