Sundar Pichai Enjoys Bharat GI Coffee at India AI Impact Summit 2026

Piyush Goyal announced the launch on Tuesday, stating the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) aims to introduce the brand to a global audience. Dubbed “A World Exclusive,” the initiative seeks to provide international recognition and premium positioning for Geographical Indication (GI) products.

“Dear world, are you ready for a cup of something truly exclusive? India’s GI products encapsulate centuries of skill, community knowledge, and geography that are irreplicable. To showcase this legacy globally, @DPIITGoI has launched Bharat GI, a national umbrella IP positioned as “A World Exclusive,” inviting global audiences to savor Bharat through aroma, flavor, and authenticity,” the Union Minister conveyed on X.

Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, highlighted the richness of India’s GI‑registered coffees at the Bharat GI Coffee Experience Centre during Day 2 of the India AI Impact Summit, emphasizing how geographical indications preserve authenticity and empower local communities.

The Bharat GI Coffees are gaining global interest at the AI Impact Summit 2026 through a special exhibit dedicated to India’s unique Geographical Indication products. This significant AI event, running from February 16-20, is part of a new national initiative named ‘Bharat GI’.

In collaboration with the Coffee Board, DPIIT is offering attendees a chance to immerse themselves in the diverse flavors and heritage of Indian coffee at this remarkable event. The coffee experience center set up in Hall No. 14, First Floor, has drawn many individuals eager to explore a variety of Indian GI registered coffees.

Numerous international delegates have come to savor the Sustainably Shade Grown, Selectively Hand Picked & Naturally Sun-dried Bharat GI Coffees.

India AI Impact Expo 2026

The India AI Impact Expo 2026 takes place from February 16-21, alongside the India AI Impact Summit, at Bharat Mandapam. This Expo will serve as a showcase for practical applications of AI, bridging the gap between policy, innovation, and the everyday citizen.

Spanning 10 areas over more than 70,000 square meters, the Expo will gather global technology companies, startups, academic institutions, governmental bodies, and international partners. It will also host 13 country pavilions, highlighting international cooperation within the AI ecosystem, including representatives from countries such as Australia, Japan, Russia, and several European nations.

The Expo will feature over 300 thoughtfully curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations, organized around themes of People, Planet, and Progress. Furthermore, it will showcase more than 600 high-potential startups demonstrating solutions that are already making an impact in real-world applications.

It is anticipated that the India AI Impact Expo 2026 will draw more than 250,000 visitors, including international delegates, aiming to foster new partnerships and create business opportunities within the global AI landscape.

The event will feature over 500 sessions, with more than 3,250 notable speakers and panelists. These discussions will focus on acknowledging AI’s transformative influence across various sectors and deliberating on future strategies to ensure that Artificial Intelligence benefits every individual worldwide.
