Meta Launches AI Tools for Campaign Creation and Reporting

Meta has introduced its Meta Ads AI Connectors in an open beta phase, enabling advertisers and agencies to effortlessly create, manage, and analyze advertising campaigns using external AI tools—no coding or API setup required.

This new offering features Meta’s Ads Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and Ads Command Line Interface (CLI). Together, these tools establish a Meta-authenticated connection between ad accounts and AI agents. According to the company, these solutions are designed to seamlessly integrate with advertisers’ existing AI platforms and workflows.

The connectors grant access to various functionalities including campaign performance metrics, ad campaign creation, catalog management, and audience insights.

Key features of these tools encompass campaign reporting, ad creation and modification through natural language prompts, product catalog management, and diagnostics related to signal health and setup quality.

Advertisers can leverage the reporting feature to generate comprehensive campaign performance reports and insights. The campaign management functionality enables users to create and adjust ads, ad sets, and entire campaigns using natural language commands.

Additionally, the catalog management tools allow advertisers to establish product catalogs, upload product data, and address feed-related issues effectively. Signal diagnostics provide crucial information on signal quality and overall system health, assisting advertisers in prioritizing enhancements to their setups.

Setting up the MCP is quick and straightforward; it takes just a few minutes and does not require developer credentials, coding skills, or API integration.

The new connectors are designed to complement the Meta AI Business Assistant found in Ads Manager. While the assistant offers campaign recommendations, issue resolution, and guidance within Meta’s advertising platform, the connectors cater to advertisers utilizing external AI systems for cross-channel insights and workflow management.

Meta aims to serve businesses and agencies of all sizes and regions with these tools, furthering its commitment to integrating AI into advertising workflows.
