In a concerning incident that unfolded in Lancaster County, a woman was charged for allegedly stealing credit cards from a locker room at Planet Fitness. This brings to light the importance of maintaining security while navigating fitness spaces.

On December 2, 2025, Tiffany Torres, a 36-year-old Leola resident, reportedly entered the women’s locker room at the Planet Fitness located at 379 N. Reading Road. It is alleged that she took several credit cards and $65 in cash from another member’s wallet. Following this, she attempted to use the stolen cards at a nearby Weis Markets, making five different transactions, all of which were declined. Ultimately, she left the grocery store with $16 in unpaid items.

On February 1, the Ephrata police filed multiple charges against Torres for theft and access device fraud. She is currently in Lancaster County Prison awaiting further legal proceedings.
