After months of hibernating in thermal leggings and thick jeans, spring is finally here, and I’m all in for one of my favorite trends: lace-trim shorts!

My warm-weather wardrobe typically revolves around the same three pairs of denim shorts. So when lace-trim shorts began trending last year, it felt like a refreshing change. Offering the same familiar silhouette, these shorts bring a softer, more feminine touch without straying too far from my comfort zone. Initially, I found the look reminiscent of bloomers, but it has grown on me. The trend beautifully balances sophistication, sweetness, and a hint of sexiness.
