Mckenna Grace Recreated a Monique Lhuillier Gown from ‘The Hunger Games’

Mckenna Grace recently showcased her fashion prowess by donning a stunning recreation of Jennifer Lawrence’s gown from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The actress wore this exquisite outfit during the “Elegance Is Authority: The Story, Style and Power of Panem” exhibition at the Musee Rodin in Paris.

The gown, designed by Monique Lhuillier, draws inspiration from the iconic wedding dress worn by Katniss Everdeen, crafted by costume designer Trish Summerville. Grace’s version featured layers of tiered tulle fabric, creating a voluminous skirt paired with a fitted bodice adorned with textured embellishments that added depth to the overall look. The dress was accentuated by shimmering silver appliqués that evoked a celestial theme, reminiscent of wings, and provided a dramatic flair.

To complete her ensemble, Grace accessorized with earrings from Messika, and her look was styled by Molly Dickson. Her hair and makeup were beautifully done by Glen “Coco” Oropeza and Allan Avendaño, respectively. At the exhibit, she was joined by her co-star Joseph Zada, who matched her stylish vibes with a gray suit.

With the renewed interest in The Hunger Games franchise, various designers and brands have begun launching collections inspired by the series, such as Alex and Ani’s recent Hunger Games-themed jewelry line.

The upcoming film, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, is set 24 years prior to Katniss Everdeen’s story and centers around the Second Quarter Quell. It is scheduled for release in theaters on November 20.
