Authorities have identified the man found deceased behind a business in Fairview, Ore., as 49-year-old Kerry Cottrell. His body was discovered on October 1 near NE 227th Avenue, just north of NE Halsey Street, shortly before 9:30 a.m.
The Multnomah County Medical Examiner will ascertain the cause and manner of Cottrell’s death, with preliminary investigations suggesting it may be linked to a medical condition. At the time of the discovery, officials indicated that there was no ongoing threat to the public. Additional details have not yet been disclosed.
