Unlike Spartan’s outdoor obstacle courses, DEKA will provide year-round competition through structured events. Participants can engage in DEKA STRONG and DEKA MILE events hosted in local gyms, as well as DEKA FIT competitions at iconic locations across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). This format is designed to be measurable, repeatable, and easily accessible, allowing athletes to train strategically, compete regularly, and track their progress over time.
The first UAE event will feature the DEKA FIT competition, which includes ten functional fitness zones, each separated by a 500-meter run, summing up to a total distance of five kilometers. Competitors can choose to participate individually or as part of a two-person team, fostering a collaborative environment. In addition, there will be cash prizes available for elite participants, providing a competitive edge for those who excel.
