Embrace Wellness: Join the JCC’s Love Week Celebration
The Friedman Jewish Community Center (JCC) is excited to announce the start of Love Week, a five-day event dedicated to promoting wellness and fostering connections within the community. This initiative opens the center’s doors to everyone, offering a complimentary seven-day pass without the need for a membership.
What to Expect During Love Week
Love Week is designed to engage individuals of all ages through a variety of accessible activities. Highlights include:

-
Open Gym Sessions: Enjoy flexible open gym times that invite individuals and families to come in, exercise, and discover new activities together.
-
Creative Community Programs: In addition to physical fitness, Love Week showcases diverse creative pursuits. Enjoy Art Appreciation classes and a Paint and Sip event, hosted by Nina Davidowitz Art Studio, which requires advance registration and a fee.
-
Pickleball and Jewelry Event: Join the Heart and Paddle mixed doubles pickleball session, and don’t miss the permanent jewelry popup from Glimmer and Grace, available on Thursday evening.
Behind Love Week
Carla Weiss, the JCC’s director of marketing and programming, played a pivotal role in developing Love Week after recently joining the team. As a long-time member of the JCC, Weiss is passionate about fostering community connections. “We’re hosting these events to benefit our community and to raise awareness about what we offer. Whether you want to socialize, play cards, paint, or engage in pickleball, our center is a welcoming space for everyone,” she shared.
Weiss hopes that Love Week will inspire local residents to explore what the facility has to offer well beyond this special week.
