As the 2026 Academy Awards approach, Best Actress nominees, including Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, and Stone reunited on February 10 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Stone kicked off the competition for the best little black dress in a recent mini by designer Julie de Libran. Notably, Buckley donned a similar look. Stylist Petra Flannery successfully curated this Spring 2026 Couture piece shortly after its debut at Paris Haute Couture Week.
The ensemble featured exaggerated shoulders and a daring, thigh-grazing hemline that felt fresh for a minimalist. Although an elongated pendant could have enhanced the plunging neckline, Stone opted to forego it. Instead, she accessorized with a leather interpretation of the rosette trend from 2023, which has become a defining motif of her Spring 2026 Couture line. Nonetheless, none stood out quite like Stone’s gothic-inspired version.

Although Stone’s ensemble wasn’t custom-designed, Flannery added her own flair. The model wore the same blazer—complete with satin pocket flaps—over a floor-length skirt during the late January runway show. The high slit on the skirt showcased peep-toe embroidered pumps.
In a surprising choice, Stone skipped the slashed skirt altogether, allowing her blazer’s length to steal the show. To enhance her look, she paired semi-sheer tights with $925 Aquazzura sandals, both in black to complement her chic mini.
