Welcome to the world of fitness! Today, we spotlight a remarkable individual, Tamira Tserendavaa, a dedicated personal trainer and health coach who recently celebrated the grand opening of her very own fitness studio in Federal Way. Her new space, Pure Strength Studio, is a vibrant addition to the Twin Lakes community.
On December 27, 2025, the local community gathered to witness Tserendavaa cut the ribbon at her studio, a significant milestone after five years of personal training from her garage. “I had always dreamed of a larger space,” she reflected. “I didn’t expect it to come together so quickly after signing the lease on November 15. The demand for classes was overwhelming, especially given the chilly, rainy weather of Washington, which made garage workouts challenging.”
Pure Strength Studio proudly offers a blend of classes that reflect Tserendavaa’s original training style, including strength training sessions filled with mountain climbers, jumping jacks, and weightlifting. Recently, she added Pilates to her offerings after obtaining her certification, now incorporating 10 to 15 minutes of core work to enhance strength.
The studio is thoughtfully designed, featuring two distinct sections. The first area is dedicated to high-energy workouts, complete with rubber flooring and essential equipment like kettlebells and squat racks. The second section provides a calming environment for yoga, meditation, and relaxation practices.
While there isn’t a designated area for children at the moment, Tserendavaa is considering options to accommodate families. “The city has informed me that if kids are sitting on mats or in strollers, there’s no issue. I’m exploring the idea of a toddler napping class with soothing kids’ music,” she explained.
During the grand opening, numerous community members eagerly registered for classes, with the first sessions kicking off in January. Long-term clients, including Lauren Verdini, who has been with Tserendavaa since 2018, voiced their excitement. “This has been her dream from day one. The new space is luxurious, and Tamira is not just a trainer but also a wonderful motivator,” she said.
Another client, Brian Smith, who joined the strength and Pilates classes in October 2025, shared his positive experience. “Tamira has made a noticeable difference in my health. Her studio provides a fantastic environment that fosters support and community,” he remarked.
For clients like Rob Van Orsow, who has trained with Tserendavaa for over six years, her approach to health and wellness has been transformative. “She knows how to balance fun with challenging workouts and always offers helpful stretches when needed,” Van Orsow added.
After the opening, many clients took to social media to promote the new studio, eager to share their fitness journey with friends and family. “I told everyone I know to come and join me at Pure Strength Studio!” noted Verdini.
Tserendavaa highlighted the important role her clients and family played in her journey. “I feel incredibly grateful for them. They’ve not only supported me but have also become part of my life. We cheer for each other, and that collaboration is beautiful,” she said.
With the expansion of classes and facility space, Tserendavaa anticipates a need for additional staff. “I have one experienced trainer named Rennee, who has a background in bodybuilding. I’m open to welcoming others who are passionate about fitness and genuinely want to help people,” she emphasized.
For anyone in the Federal Way area looking to embark on a fitness journey, Pure Strength Studio stands as a supportive and empowering environment to help you reach your personal goals.
