<p>“I love helping to make people feel good,” says Kisha Triplett, expressing her passion for beauty and wellness through her business, Internal Beauties.</p>

<p>Over the past five years, Triplett has observed a significant need for support within her community, particularly regarding self-esteem and self-acceptance. Inspired by this, she founded Internal Beauties with the mission of creating a welcoming space for people to embrace their true selves and promote better health.</p>

<p>“Many people focus on external beauty and forget the importance of internal happiness,” Triplett explains. “It’s essential to feel good from the inside out.”</p>

<p>Internal Beauties offers a range of noninvasive beauty services designed to enhance well-being, including body contouring, lymphatic drainage, sauna detox therapy, laser lipo, skin tightening, cellulite treatments, and teeth whitening. According to Triplett, the aim extends beyond surface changes; she wants to help clients transform their self-perception.</p>

<p>“Our focus is on altering not just physical appearance but also how clients feel about themselves,” says the company’s mission statement.</p>

<p>More than just a business venture, Triplett emphasizes that her passion drives her work. Despite managing two full-time jobs and caring for her three younger siblings, she dedicates essential time to grow Internal Beauties.</p>

<p>In July 2024, after the passing of her father, Triplett took in three young children who needed a home. While this changed her household dynamics, she welcomed the challenge. The following July, her business flourished, gaining 90 new clients.</p>

<p>“I feel like the universe is confirming that I’m on the right path,” Triplett reflects, noting her father would be proud of her commitment.</p>

<p>A critical aspect of her services entails advising clients on maintaining their results by focusing on internal factors such as diet and exercise.</p>

<p>“It’s not just about how much you want to invest in altering your appearance. If you don’t address what’s going on internally, the issues will return,” stresses Triplett.</p>

<p>She also provides post-operative care for clients recovering from invasive procedures, emphasizing the importance of adopting healthier habits post-surgery.</p>

<p>Triplett envisions Internal Beauties as a trusted resource for beauty and health within Minnesota’s Black communities, helping individuals discover their inner strength and beauty.</p>

<p>Looking ahead, her goal is to expand Internal Beauties to a point where she can hire other Black entrepreneurs to provide beauty services, fostering a community of support and empowerment.</p>
