As the job market becomes increasingly competitive, recruiters are turning to advanced technologies to enhance their hiring processes. One such technology is artificial intelligence (AI), which is proving to be an invaluable asset in identifying and engaging with candidates who possess the right skills.
The Role of AI in Interviews
AI is progressively taking a central role in job interviews, introducing consistency and efficiency during the early stages of candidate screening, as highlighted by LinkedIn.
In fact, over three-quarters (76%) of recruiters have noted that implementing AI in the interview process significantly reduces time spent, enabling them to concentrate on more impactful discussions with pre-screened candidates. Additionally, 72% believe that AI contributes to the standardization of interviews, thereby mitigating bias.
The outcomes speak for themselves: approximately 63% of recruiters have reported filling positions more swiftly than ever, while 70% claim that AI’s facilitation of initial interview screenings accelerates the hiring process.
Gregory commented, “By handling the labor-intensive aspects of screening and shortlisting, along with human oversight, AI is actually enhancing the human element of hiring. This allows recruiters to step away from their desks and engage in high-value conversations that attract top talent.”
