PRESS RELEASE — MITO AI (www.mito.ai), a collaborative AI platform transforming the production of films, commercials, and music videos, has announced a funding round led by Paul Murphy at Lightspeed Venture Partners. Other participating investors include Kibo, Kfund, Sequoia and A16Z scouts, LifeX, and angel investors consisting of five unicorn founders and executives from USV, Roblox, and GitHub.
MITO AI is on a mission to create the next wave of AI orchestration tools for video creation and collaboration. The platform features a multiplayer environment where filmmakers, brands, and creatives can collaborate in real-time. It combines foundational AI models for video, image, and audio with advanced editing tools in a limitless, browser-based interface. This allows individuals and teams to experiment freely and bring their ideas to fruition, guided by an AI copilot that can be directed to perform specific tasks. From mood boarding and story structuring to camera angles, visual effects, and multi-format outputs, MITO empowers artists to create at the speed of thought while maintaining control, consistency, and quality.
