Channel 4 has announced the first series of Celebrity Handcuffed, featuring an eclectic mix of celebrity pairings, including:
- Katie Price and Rt Hon Suella Braverman MP
- Neil Ruddock and Bimini
- Kerry Katona and Mark-Francis Vandelli
- Lady Victoria Hervey and Georgia Harrison MBE
- DJ Fat Tony and Princess Olga Romanov
This series follows the successful civilian version, Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing, which is also set for a second season.
Jonathan Ross expressed his excitement, sharing that he loved the civilian series and is eager to see how the celebrity version unfolds, hinting at its potential chaos and humor. Tim Hancock, Channel 4’s Commissioning Editor, described the show as a hilarious, awkward exploration of relationships in modern Britain, while Series Producer Amy Willetts emphasized the theme of friendship amid the pressures of celebrity.
The series is produced by 72 Films and will consist of four episodes, each lasting 60 minutes, with Fremantle holding the international production and distribution rights.
