Microsoft Paint Enhanced with AI Features for Easy Book Creation
Microsoft Paint is getting more powerful AI tools
Microsoft is rolling out exciting new AI tools across its suite of applications, including Paint. Over the past year, Paint has evolved significantly, becoming a preferred tool for creative outputs and edging closer to a reliable photo editing solution.
One of the standout features is the ability to create colouring books using simple text prompts—similar to how users interact with Gemini or ChatGPT. However, these innovations are currently limited to Windows Insider test participants, who will help refine and stabilize them for a broader release.
How Microsoft Paint’s AI Colouring Book Feature Works
Users of Paint can generate colouring books by entering prompts for the AI to interpret. The tool produces outlines akin to traditional colouring books within seconds, ready for digital coloring or printing.
Microsoft aims to make these features enticing enough to encourage users to upgrade to the latest Copilot-equipped PCs. Users will also need to log in with accounts similar to how platforms like Google and Apple operate.
Regarding Notepad, the new AI features include enhancements in text formatting, such as strikethrough effects and nested lists. Users can also utilize a formatting toolbar for streamlined text editing.
Adobe, another tech leader, has also infused Acrobat with new AI capabilities, enabling users to convert text into audio podcasts, expanding its functionality beyond basic document handling. These features are expected to be available to Acrobat users globally, initially at no cost.
