Recently, I decided to visit a Bath & Body Works store, something I hadn’t done in a while as I typically prefer online shopping. On a Sunday trip to my local Trader Joe’s, I spotted a Bath & Body Works right next door and figured it was the perfect opportunity to check it out. I had my heart set on their popular 2 for $20 three-wick candle deal, but to my disappointment, they weren’t running that promotion. Just as I was about to leave, I noticed an array of adorable mason jar candles.

I ended up purchasing the “Winter” and “Merry Cookie” candles. The “Winter” candle is my absolute favorite for this season; it evokes memories of Thanksgiving and Christmas with its delightful scent reminiscent of firewood and freshly fallen snow. It fills my home with a warm, festive aroma. The “Merry Cookie” candle offers an equally charming scent, reminiscent of sugar cookies, and creates a cozy atmosphere.

In addition to the candles, I picked up two oils for my oil warmers, as I was running low on my current supply. Naturally, one of the oils was in the “Winter” scent because it’s a must-have for the season. The intensity of these oils surpasses that of the candles; just a few drops can fill the entire house with fragrance. The second oil I chose was “Sweet Pea,” another favorite of mine that I wish the company would bring back in candle form.

I may just have to return to Bath & Body Works this coming Sunday or next week to gather a few more candles. This year, I’ll be hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the first time, welcoming around 15 guests. It’s essential that my home smells wonderful! I’m feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness, especially since I will be handling most of the cooking. Fortunately, this will be the third time I’m preparing the Thanksgiving turkey, and I’ve grown more confident each time. My only concern is managing my time effectively because organization isn’t my strong suit, but I’m optimistic everything will turn out perfectly!
