Happy New Year, everyone! I hope you had a wonderful and safe celebration. I welcomed the New Year at home with my husband and our dog Blu, enjoying movies, sushi, and some bubbly drinks. Today, I’m excited to share my top 14 beauty products from 2014!
As you might already know, I have a slight obsession with nail polish. Picking just one favorite was impossible, so I ended up choosing five shades instead. Here they are:

4. Chanel’s stunning galaxy-colored “Taboo” (find swatches here)
5. Butter London’s “The 444” — undoubtedly one of the most beautiful glitter polishes ever created.
In terms of skincare, two products stood out this year:

When it comes to makeup, here are a few of my most loved and frequently used products:
8. Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Brick in “Rose” (find my review here).
9. Milani’s Baked Blush in “Luminoso” (check out my review here).
10. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette (see my review here).
11. Stila’s All-Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. I haven’t had a chance to write a formal review yet, but this eyeliner is one of the best and easiest to use, with remarkable staying power.
12. MAC’s Velvet Teddy lipstick (check my review here). I had a soft spot for nude, 90’s-inspired lip colors this year, and Velvet Teddy became a daily staple for me.
13. MAC’s Lip Pencil in “Soar” (available in my review here). This lovely pencil also looks fantastic on its own.
14. Anastasia’s Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo (check out my review here). It’s hands down one of the best brow powders for achieving a natural finish.
