Welcome to my latest edition of “Lovin’ Lately,” where I share some personal favorites that have enriched my lifestyle recently—minus the beauty products this time around. Let’s dive into the things bringing me joy and inspiration!
Whenever someone admires a cute prop in my photos and asks where it’s from, 90% of the time I respond with the same answer: Home Goods. The truth is, I really dislike shopping and can’t even recall the last time I was at the mall. However, I adore Home Goods. It’s conveniently located next to my grocery store, making it easy for me to pop in for candles (which I’ll discuss shortly) after my grocery run.
Speaking of candles, I have a true passion for them! My current favorite brand is DW Home. I previously mentioned Wild Honey Nectar in this post, but I’m now also smitten with Maple Hazelnut—the perfect scent for Fall—along with Teakwood Tonka and Paperwhite + Musk. Not only do these candles come in lovely jars, but they also have a fragrant throw that’s pleasantly balanced, not overpowering.
I’ve been on the hunt for rose gold flatware for a while. The primary reason is that I plan to share more recipes, and I’m gathering kitchen items that can enhance my styling efforts. I recently found beautiful rose gold frozen dessert spoons by Mikasa at—you guessed it—Home Goods! Now I’m still searching for forks and knives to complete the set.
I first discovered Karen talking about raspberry leaf tea on Instagram a while ago, and it has since become a staple for me. This tea is particularly helpful for anyone who experiences painful and heavy periods. On occasion, I suffer from severe PMS, and during those times I sip on two cups a day. Raspberry leaf tea is known to strengthen the uterus, potentially reducing cramps and heavy bleeding. While it’s not magic, it certainly helps improve my comfort level during that time of the month.
I often talk about Gabby Bernstein on my blog because her work has genuinely transformed my life since I discovered her in 2013. I first encountered her as a guest on a local morning TV show, and I was instantly captivated by her message. That same day, I ordered her book and began making impactful changes. Gabby has recently released a new book titled The Universe Has Your Back, which has quickly become a favorite. It’s filled with real, inspiring content, and if you’re seeking some positivity and enlightenment, I highly recommend this book. Additionally, if you purchase it by November 27th, you can gain access to a free 6-hour online course, valued at $249. A fantastic offering from Gabby!
Lastly, I want to highlight one of my current favorite Netflix shows: Chelsea. I absolutely adore Chelsea Handler and am hooked on her show. It airs three times a week, combining humor with crucial discussions on topics like global warming and gender inequality. Her wit and outspokenness make it a delightful watch, especially at the end of a long day.
What are your current lifestyle favorites? I’d love to hear!
