It’s hard to believe, but May has arrived!
This month, I want to take a moment to recognize Lily from Pint Sized Beauty for her kind words about Thirteen Thoughts in the latest issue of Blogosphere magazine. I was thrilled to be featured and recently managed to get my hands on a copy (thanks to the Blogosphere team!), even though it’s not available in the US. For those who appreciate beauty and stunning photography, you’ll adore Lily’s blog—and her warmth is just an added bonus. 😉
Over the past couple of months, my blogging schedule has been a bit irregular, and I haven’t been able to write as frequently as I usually do. The good news is that I’m approaching the conclusion of my treatment, which has been quite exhausting due to back pain, fatigue, and some anxiety. I can hardly express how eager I am to finish the medication and return to my former self. Many of you have reached out for updates via Facebook and email, and I promise to write a detailed post once my treatment is over. If you’re unfamiliar with my journey, you can read more about it in this post.
Additionally, I’m working on several blog projects behind the scenes, all of which had to be paused after losing my Gran. I lacked the energy even to get out of bed, let alone think about launching a blog shop.
On the 7th, I also celebrated my “third 25th birthday anniversary”—in other words, I turned 28! I took a few days off to do absolutely nothing except binge-watch Harry Potter, a rare treat for this workaholic. It was a much-needed break!
Despite the ups and downs, we still managed to cover important topics in April, including Success, Staying Motivated, and Being Okay with Not Being Okay. Your enthusiastic responses to these posts truly touched me, and some of your comments brought tears to my eyes. Is that quirky? I find that connection incredibly rewarding. I want our conversations to be meaningful, not just a simple exchange of “k…bye!” I genuinely love reading your comments—even if I can’t respond immediately, know that I see them all.
We also explored Spring Beauty and Spring Style since, after all, it is spring! I shared insights into my April Makeup Bag, highlighted my Favorite Beauty Tools, and expressed my passion for Essential Oils.
We delved into related subjects like Simplifying Your Life, Digital Distractions, and Keeping New Habits—all of which intertwine beautifully.
One of my favorite posts from April was Blogging Tips for Beginners.
If you missed any of these topics and need a catch-up, feel free to dive in, and I’ll see you tomorrow! Love you all!
