February Highlights: 13 Key Insights

February has been a month of reflection and gradual progress for me. While it moved slowly, it held special significance as I opened up about my ongoing battle with acne. Sharing this personal journey was a long-awaited endeavor, one I had been putting off due to time constraints. Acne has affected me deeply, yet I seldom discussed it. Writing that post brought relief, even amidst the physical and emotional challenges I face during my current treatment. As I look ahead, I hope to complete this journey by the end of March.

In January, I embarked on an adventurous quest by going makeup-free for a month. It was a fascinating experience, and I enjoyed sharing my insights in this post.

Some of you may have noticed a slight slowdown in my posts recently. I’ve been navigating through emotional challenges after a personal loss, making it difficult to follow through on the many plans I had for the start of this year, such as launching a blog shop, offering stock photos, and expanding this blog’s reach. At times, I feel stalled and yearn to fast-forward to when I feel more like myself. Life, however, doesn’t always allow for such shortcuts.

To cope, I’ve been journaling and indulging in plenty of reading, which seems to help. I am optimistic about regaining my sense of normalcy and returning to the busyness that brings me joy—creating and working. Although my mind is always filled with ideas, I often find myself lacking the energy to bring them to fruition. The good news is that spring is on the horizon, a season that symbolizes growth and new beginnings.

What types of posts do you enjoy reading most? This summer, I’m eager to return to posting recipes and food-related content (plant-based, of course), a category that I’ve sadly neglected for far too long. If only there were at least 36 hours in a day!
