Something to Crow About: Insights from Economic Prism

As the 2024 American presidential election approaches, the atmosphere feels charged, with unsettling events looming on the horizon. An environment fraught with tension is not new, but the idea of political violence seems to hang palpably in the air.

In today’s society, the presence of dangerous individuals appears more common than ever. They seem to be everywhere—at grocery stores, gas stations, and strolling down Main Street.

These individuals, misled by sensational media portrayals, may have come to see Donald Trump as a figure akin to Hitler. Driven by this distorted perception and a zeal for what they call democracy, some of them might even feel compelled to participate in shaping history through violent means.

The societal and political turmoil we are witnessing is unlikely to dissipate on election day. It is plausible that this unrest could extend for years or even decades, bringing with it another scandal akin to Russiagate or perhaps a new, dire conflict.

As America’s grip on its influential status loosens, faith in the integrity of elections and the peaceful transfer of power is fading. The overwhelming influence of corrupt money and power raises grave concerns about whether the people’s true will can determine the nation’s next leader.

Historically, America has experienced its share of political assassinations. The narrative frequently suggests these acts are committed by isolated individuals, such as Booth, Guiteau, Czolgosz, and Oswald, while overlooking the possibility of deeper conspiracies behind such tragic events.

Accepting these acts as merely the product of a lone assailant can feel more comforting than acknowledging a potentially more sinister motive.

Security 101 stresses the importance of creating a secure perimeter. However, the Secret Service seemingly failed to uphold this principle during a Trump rally near Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, 2024. Was this merely a careless mistake?

To fully comprehend the implications of this breach, we need to delve deeper into the context surrounding this event. Where should we begin?

Conspiracy

The history of the Roman Empire offers a revealing lens through which to examine political assassinations. Many emperors met their end not from natural causes but at the hands of conspirators seeking power. Regicide was a common occurrence in this turbulent era.

Edward Gibson, in his work The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (1776), articulated the grim reality of Roman emperors:

“Such was the unhappy condition of the Roman emperors that, regardless of their conduct, their fate was commonly the same. A life of pleasure or virtue, severity or mildness, indolence or glory, all led to an untimely grave; almost every reign closed with a nauseating cycle of treason and murder.”

Assassinations of Roman emperors were seen as the result of broad conspiracies, involving senators and military leaders, rather than being attributed solely to a deranged individual. Such acts were frequently executed to terminate oppressive governance.

Take for example Gaius Caesar, known as Caligula, whose tyrannical rule alienated many. Despised for his demands of deification and his contempt for the Senate, Caligula was assassinated on January 24, 41, through a conspiracy involving the Praetorian Guard and other elites. The Praetorian Guard, similar to today’s Secret Service, acted as personal protectors for Roman leaders.

Some conspirators believed that eliminating Caligula would pave the way for restoring the Roman Republic. However, they were naive; the Praetorian Guard simply placed Caligula’s uncle Claudius on the throne, perpetuating the cycle of turmoil.

What insights can we draw from this history?

Deep State

Throughout his presidency, Joe Biden has exhibited signs of mental decline. His aides, along with mainstream media and political insiders, have worked tirelessly to obscure this reality. It has been glaringly obvious to anyone paying attention.

Clearly, Biden is not steering the nation. He appears unaware of basic facts, such as the identity of his vice president. Instead, a cadre of unelected individuals—the Deep State—manipulates the corridors of power for their own gain.

Regardless of personal opinion, Trump remains at odds with the Deep State. He is viewed as a formidable challenger to the established order. Consequently, the Deep State is utilizing every strategy at its disposal to ensure his exclusion from power. Jim Quinn at The Burning Platform recently outlined the events that have unfolded:

“Since Trump’s unexpected rise in 2016, the Deep State and its allies in government, media, and surveillance agencies have worked to undermine him through various tactics: the fraudulent Russiagate investigations, two groundless impeachments, a manufactured pandemic to sway the 2020 election, and unfounded criminal charges designed to ruin him. They even raided his residence with orders to shoot if necessary.”

“It is abundantly clear that a Deep State or invisible government is orchestrating events behind the scenes, while we, the populace, remain passive recipients of their directives, all while they claim to act in our best interests.”

Something to Crow About

The direction in which America is heading is already set. Generally speaking, we are moving towards an increasingly disagreeable future.

Regardless of whether Trump or Biden emerges victorious—or even if another candidate takes the helm—the underlying issues facing America will continue to fester. Political manipulation, societal collapse, crumbling cities, rampant inflation, soaring debts, frivolous wars, and a pervasive descent into violence all loom before us.

The root cause of these problems lies in one undeniable truth: corruption pervades our monetary system. Until we rectify this fundamental flaw, our collective journey towards doom will not change course.

The relentless cycle of accumulating debt and declining currency has expanded the government’s size and reach beyond reason. No initiative is deemed too grand or foolish to be included in Congressional funding, as larger endeavors seem to be favored.

With corrupt money comes corrupt governance. As national debt escalates, a class of political elites has leveraged the Deep State to exploit this spending for their personal gains. They are enriching themselves at the expense of ordinary citizens.

During Caligula’s reign, Roman citizens understood that the Republic was lost. Today, many in the American electorate fail to recognize this reality, while others choose to believe the comforting falsehoods instead.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, they will cast their ballots and boast about their democratic rights, only to return to servitude under unseen masters the following day.
